Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern your use of the Cygnet London Limited website and any services you engage us to provide. Cygnet London Limited (company number 14285801) is referred to throughout as "Cygnet", "we", "us", or "our".
References in these T&Cs to:
(i) "products" means the cigars which Cygnet sources and brokers on your behalf; (ii) "services" means the cigar brokerage, storage, handling, and advisory services provided by Cygnet; and (iii) "engagement" means any instruction to provide our brokerage services.

You can find everything you need to know about Cygnet and our brokerage services on this website. We will confirm key information and terms of engagement to you in writing before we begin providing services.
Engaging Our Services
When you engage our brokerage services, you agree to the following:
We only accept instructions once they have been reviewed and confirmed by us in writing.
We reserve the right to decline instructions where, for example, we are unable to verify your identity or age, you are located outside the UK, or we determine we cannot fulfil your requirements. We will notify you promptly in such circumstances.
Our brokerage fees and any associated costs will be clearly outlined before we begin providing services.
You remain responsible for all costs associated with any transactions we facilitate on your behalf, including purchase prices, import duties, taxes, insurance, and shipping costs.
Our Fees and Charges
We currently do not charge VAT; however, we reserve the right to charge VAT at any point. If the rate of VAT changes during our engagement, we will adjust the VAT accordingly on future invoices.
Payment terms will be confirmed in our engagement letter. We reserve the right to request payment in advance or require suitable security for our services.
Late Payments
Interest will be charged on any overdue amounts at a rate of 2% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, accruing daily from the due date and compounding on the last day of each month.
Circumstances Outside Our Control
If our ability to provide services is affected by circumstances outside our control — such as government sanctions, import restrictions, or market disruptions — we will contact you as soon as possible and take reasonable steps to minimise any impact. We will not be liable for delays or inability to perform in such circumstances. You may terminate our engagement if delays are likely to be substantial. Please contact us at william@cygnetlondon.com.
Information and Valuations
We make every effort to provide accurate information and fair market valuations. However, cigar markets can be volatile, and values may fluctuate. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of third-party information or future market performance.
Your Right to Cancel
You have a legal right to cancel most service contracts within 14 days of agreeing to our engagement. However, if we have already begun providing services at your request, you will be liable for the value of services provided up to the point of cancellation.

Your Legal Rights
We honour our legal obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Our services will be carried out with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time (unless otherwise agreed), and for a reasonable price (where not agreed in advance). Changes to Our Services
We may make changes to our services to reflect changes in law, regulation, or market conditions, or to make improvements to our offering. Where a significant change affects an existing engagement, we will notify you in advance and discuss how this may affect you.
Suspension or Withdrawal of Services
We may suspend or cease providing certain services. We will notify you in advance where possible. If this affects an ongoing engagement, we will work with you to minimise any disruption and may adjust our fees accordingly.
Ending Our Engagement
Either party may terminate our engagement in accordance with the terms set out in our engagement letter. We may terminate immediately if you fail to make payment when due, do not provide necessary information or cooperation within a reasonable time, or breach these terms in any material way.
Our Liability
We maintain professional indemnity insurance appropriate to our business. We are responsible for losses you suffer as a direct result of our negligence or breach of these terms. However, we are not liable for unforeseeable losses caused by events outside our control, which could have been avoided by you taking reasonable action, or arise from market movements or the actions of third parties.
Our total liability to you under any engagement is limited to the fees you have paid for the relevant services, except where prohibited by law.
Confidentiality
We will treat all information about you and your requirements in confidence, except where disclosure is required by law or regulation, or where you have permitted us to share information with third parties to facilitate our services.
Resolving Disputes
If you have a complaint or concern, please contact our customer service team at william@cygnetlondon.com, and we will do our best to resolve the matter promptly. These T&Cs are governed by English law, and any disputes may be brought before the English courts, or the courts of Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland if you reside there.
General
We may transfer our obligations under these terms to another organisation, in which case we will notify you in writing and your rights will not be affected.
You may not transfer your engagement with us to another party without our written consent.
This contract is between you and Cygnet London Limited only. No third party has rights under it.
If any part of these T&Cs is found to be unlawful, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
Any failure by us to enforce these T&Cs immediately does not waive our right to do so at a later date.
